With the new S$199 (64GB) and S$239 (128GB) pricing, the Apple TV 4K (2022) is easily one of the best buys you can get this year, especially if you don't have one already. Siri support is also more integrated now, and pressing the Siri button doesn't kick you out of the show you're watching. You can also use two pairs of AirPods at the same time for quiet viewing, if you don't want to wake the kids. On the software side, there's Apple Music Sing (though no mic support for karaoke sessions), and SharePlay, for watching content together via FaceTime. But the new chip gives it HDR10+ support, future proofing your purchase, assuming you have a TV that can support HDR10+, of course. That's not to say the previous model isn't snappy, either.
